The founder of Contento, Juan Mont is also an oil painter that previewed his series, titled Bubble Gum in the lower East side in December 2018. Mont’s work is inspired by the vibrant video games of the 80’s and 90’s. It all started with Windows PC back when Juan was 16, as he spent hours brainstorming and creating his first trademark fantastical, which was designed as an abstract design. A slow process where Juan projected objects into canvas, traced, painted and then carefully reproduced each deep color for every line he painted.
When Citibike searched for an agency that can create animation that will easily explain how Bike Sharing works in New York City enabling easy adaptation with tourists, they chose Contentony.
This project, titled ImageNate, The Pilot was created in January 2019 as a new children cartoon mini-series, featuring Nate, a young frog who can't seem to turn off his playful mind. Nate's imagination creates exciting scenes from the most ordinary situations and sets the stage for unpredictable experiences for him and his brother Newt.
According to ALF there is widespread misunderstanding around organ donorship. To address this important topic ALF hired contento to help educate the broad public about the true health implications of organ donorship and also help dispel misconceptions.
Contento created a series of six tutorials featuring friendly animation that helped to spread awareness on the difficulty of finding organs.
This project, titled Nono Adventures in the Amazonia was launched in Winter 2016, under Kidoteka, an Gaming App company based in Brazil.
Kidoteka hired Contento to lead art direction and animation for their new immersive and educational adventure game app, targeting children age 3+
Farm City hired Contento to create an animated campaign featuring a series of short videos celebrating the launch of Farm City Two. The videos were allowing audiences to interact with the main characters on social media platforms to introduce the new generation of Farm City by introducing new characters, assets, and virtual environments.
This project, titled Finley The fuzz was launched in December 2016 by Runaway Cart Publishing at the 16th Annual Brooklyn Children’s Book Fair. The paperback book features Finley, a fuzz, who is one of a kind. A highly imaginative character that celebrates individuality.
The social media campaign, titled The Power To Live Undetectable was launched in Summer 2018, under Housing Works the based on their mission to fight against the stigma of people living with HIV.
Contentony created a series Whiteboard animation that illustrates the power that comes from living undetectable. Our goal was to use animation and powerful superhero visuals to inspire others to use their own voices in the fight against stigmatizing people living with HIV.
This project, titled Radio Host, The Pilot was created in March 2021 as a new adult comedy mini-series, featuring Jacob Fiskel, aka Fish, who applies for his dream job as a radio host and is rejected. This event leads Jacob to fulfill his life-long goal to call in and rile up as many radio hosts as possible.
